Evertec's stock surged 10.91% in after-hours trading following the release of better-than-expected fourth-quarter results and the announcement of a new strategic partnership.
The transaction processor reported Q4 adjusted earnings per share of $0.93, beating analyst estimates of $0.89. Revenue for the quarter reached $244.8 million, exceeding expectations of $236.8 million and representing a 13.1% year-over-year increase. The company also posted strong full-year 2025 results and expanded its share repurchase authorization.
Additionally, Evertec announced a strategic alliance with Banco Cooperativo de Puerto Rico to launch its PayStudio platform in Puerto Rico for the first time. This partnership will provide local financial institutions with tools to manage the full card lifecycle with enhanced security and operational efficiency.
