MP CARDIOFLOW-B (02160) has announced that its independently developed ENO™ series of cardiac pacemakers have recently received CE approval for the Left Bundle Branch Area Pacing (LBBAP) indication. With this approval, all six of the group's CE-certified pacemaker models are now cleared for LBBAP. Combined with the already commercialized FLEXIGO™ 3D LBBAP delivery system and VegaTMM58 electrode leads, the group now possesses a complete solution for LBBAP therapy. This enables the company to meet the clinical needs of more patients and further diversify its revenue streams.
LBBAP therapy is an internationally advanced physiological pacing technique. It involves the precise implantation of electrodes into the left bundle branch or its adjacent area, allowing electrical signals to travel along the heart's natural conduction system. This results in synchronized contraction of the left and right ventricles, significantly improving cardiac pumping efficiency. This therapy more closely mimics physiological pacing, effectively reducing the long-term risk of heart failure caused by ventricular dyssynchrony. It is suitable for patients with conditions such as bradycardia and conduction block, markedly improving their quality of life and long-term prognosis. LBBAP represents a significant upgrade and alternative to traditional right ventricular pacing and biventricular pacing. It is explicitly recommended in domestic and international clinical guidelines, and its clinical standing is rapidly rising.
Looking ahead, the group will leverage its cardiac rhythm management business's over 60 years of deep expertise in active implantable devices, remote monitoring, and sensor algorithms. It will deeply integrate the technological strengths of its structural heart disease business in passive intervention, delivery systems, valve design, biomaterials, and hemodynamic monitoring. The company aims to accelerate innovative research, development, and global commercialization in the field of heart failure. It is committed to providing global patients with innovative, comprehensive device-based management solutions that cover the full spectrum of heart failure etiologies, stages, and processes. The goal is to benefit patients worldwide with higher-quality, more accessible innovative therapies.
