Lingbao Gold (03330) has published its 10th Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, covering operations from 1 January – 31 December 2025. The Board-led three-tier ESG governance framework – Board, Strategy Committee and ESG Working Group – oversaw the year’s initiatives, with 67 market announcements and three regular reports disclosed.

Environmental Performance and Investments • Total energy use reached 230,138.52 MWh, while combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse-gas emissions stood at 117,457.04 tonnes of CO₂-equivalent. • Hazardous waste generation totalled 187,941.63 tonnes; non-hazardous waste reached 1.43 million tonnes, chiefly waste rock and tailings. • Water consumption amounted to 2.68 million m³. • Environmental capital outlays, led by the Smelting Branch (RMB3.08 million) and Full Gold (RMB2.76 million), supported tail-gas desulphurisation, dry tailings disposal and energy-saving upgrades. • Huatai and Xingyuan operations were awarded national-level “Green Mine” status; a new 3,000-tonne/day beneficiation plant at Nanshan boosted processing efficiency and cut unit energy use by more than 35 %.

Climate-Risk Management Scenario analysis aligned with NGFS and SSP pathways identified river flooding, extreme rainfall and heatwaves as key physical risks. Transition risks centre on stricter product regulations and energy-cost volatility. Mitigation priorities include process electrification, clean-energy adoption and systematic carbon-data management.

Workforce and Safety • Headcount: 3,670 (78 % male, 22 % female); turnover rate: 7.68 %. • Training: 15,150 hours delivered to 1,026 employees. • One work-related fatality; 2,946 lost workdays recorded. • Enhanced safety drills: subsidiaries staged over 50 emergency exercises, while Huatai conducted 65 safety-training sessions.

Community and Social Contribution Lingbao Gold allocated RMB18.61 million to social programmes. Major items included RMB12 million for rural road reconstruction in Lingbao’s Zhuyang Town, RMB5.00 million for educational and hardship grants, and targeted support for village infrastructure, medical services and employee welfare.

Governance and Compliance The Group refined 10+ internal control systems, conducted 221 internal audit engagements and added female representation to its Nomination Committee. Supplier oversight now operates through an upgraded SRM platform managing 80 categories and 276 qualified vendors, all bound by integrity agreements.

The 2025 ESG Report, available in Chinese and English on the HKEX and company websites, underscores Lingbao Gold’s objective to align operational growth with green transformation, strengthened governance and community value creation.
