DroneShield Ltd's stock surged 5.10% during intraday trading on Wednesday, following the announcement of a strategic new partnership.
The Australian anti-drone technology company has entered into a partnership with Robin Radar Systems. This collaboration is designed to extend DroneShield's radar interoperability and strengthen comprehensive airspace awareness for its customers, by integrating Robin's 360-degree, 3D radar technology for detecting small airborne objects like drones.
The company stated that this "ecosystem-led" approach expands the options available to customers for radar-based detection as part of a layered counter-unmanned aircraft systems deployment. The partnership enhances the flexibility for operators to design their airspace security architecture, with all sensor inputs fused through DroneShield's DroneSentry-C2 platform and SensorFusionAI to support decisive action.
