Visiting the planting base in Yongfu Village reveals rows of waxy corn with sturdy stalks and lush green leaves, showing promising growth. Thanks to integrated water and fertilizer technology and green management using self-produced fish protein bacterial fertilizer, the corn plants have developed robust root systems and exhibit uniform growth, ensuring a guaranteed high yield and harvest.

It is understood that the waxy corn in Yongfu Village's specialized planting demonstration base is typically sown around April 10th each year and matures around July 20th, with a yield of 1.3 to 1.5 tons per mu. In the next phase, Laoshantou Township will continue to summarize the planting experience from Yongfu Village, gradually expand the promotion of this specialized cultivation, improve the entire supporting chain from planting and management to sales, encourage more farming households to participate in the specialty industry, continuously strengthen the village collective economy, and solidify the foundation for stable income growth for the residents.
