United Overseas Bank lifts U.S. commercial paper limit to US$25.0 billion

United Overseas Bank Limited announced on Aug, 08 2026 that it has updated its U.S. Commercial Paper Programme and increased the maximum aggregate principal amount of notes issuable under the programme to US$25.0 billion from US$15.0 billion.
The unsecured notes will rank pari passu with the bank’s other senior unsecured liabilities, will not be listed on any stock exchange, and will be offered in transactions exempt from registration under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933.
UOB said the proceeds from future issuances will be used for general business purposes.
