JACOBIO-B (01167) Repurchases 144,000 Shares for HK$0.998 Million; Total Treasury Stock Reaches 5.41 Million

JACOBIO-B disclosed that on 18 March 2026 it repurchased 144,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HK$6.89 to HK$7.01, paying a total consideration of HK$0.998 million. All repurchased shares will be retained as treasury stock.

Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) decreased from 786.49 million to 786.35 million shares, a reduction of 0.02%. Treasury stock increased to 5.41 million shares, while total issued shares remained unchanged at 791.76 million.

The buyback forms part of a mandate approved on 10 June 2025 authorising the repurchase of up to 78.87 million shares. Including this latest purchase, the company has bought back 2.39 million shares under the mandate, representing 0.30% of the issued share count on the mandate date.

Pursuant to Hong Kong listing rules, JACOBIO-B is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares following the repurchase, extending to 17 April 2026.
