ByteDance officially launched Doubao Work on August 25th, introducing it as a new Agent product and brand designed for productivity scenarios. The tool is engineered to autonomously break down user goals into specific tasks, invoke the necessary tools, and drive complex workflows to completion.

Doubao Work is deeply integrated with Feishu, enabling the Agent to execute tasks more accurately by leveraging enterprise-specific context. Currently, the computer version of Doubao Work is available for download via the official website, and it can also be accessed directly within the latest version of the Doubao computer application. Users who log in, download, or upgrade starting today can claim a complimentary 30-day subscription.

For the most common and time-consuming tasks in daily office work, Doubao Work offers robust content generation and editing capabilities. Whether it’s drafting proposals, compiling meeting minutes, creating reports, summarizing research, building spreadsheets, or analyzing data, the tool delivers high-quality results across all these functions.

In more sophisticated production scenarios, Doubao Work extends its utility by generating and editing images, videos, web pages, and even full applications. When dealing with even more complex work environments, the Agent can directly operate browsers and computers. Once user authorization is granted, it can execute tasks across different software, process data in professional applications, browse the web for information, fill out forms, and cross-reference materials.

For tasks that require extended runtime, Doubao Work can delegate them to cloud computers, ensuring the work continues uninterrupted even if the user’s local device is powered off. Furthermore, users can remotely control their computers via a mobile phone, allowing them to advance pending work while on the go.
