ICBC Board Endorses 2026 Q1 Report, Sets Donation Cap and Advances Compliance Plans

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited (ICBC) reported that its Board of Directors convened on 29 April 2026 at the Beijing head office, with all 13 eligible directors present. The meeting complied with statutory requirements and was chaired by Mr. Liao Lin.

The board unanimously approved four key resolutions:

• 2026 First-Quarter Report: The Audit Committee reviewed the document, after which the full board passed it with 13 votes in favour and none against. The report has been published on the HKEXnews website.

• 2026 External Donation Limit: Directors approved the proposed annual ceiling for charitable and other external donations. The item will now be submitted to ICBC’s forthcoming shareholders’ meeting for final consideration.

• Consumer Protection: The board accepted the 2025 consumer-protection summary and ratified the work plan for 2026, receiving unanimous support.

• Compliance & Anti-Money Laundering: The 2025 group-wide compliance and AML management report was endorsed with full consensus.

Members of senior management attended the session. According to the announcement, the resolutions reflect ICBC’s continued focus on disclosure, governance and regulatory compliance.
