Montage Technology Co., Ltd. (Montage Tech) has announced a forthcoming change to its board structure. Non-executive director Dr. Wang Rui has tendered her resignation due to retirement, effective once shareholders approve a successor at the next general meeting. Dr. Wang will continue to discharge her duties until the transition is completed and has confirmed no disagreements with the board or issues requiring shareholder attention.

To ensure board continuity, the nomination committee has proposed Mr. Wang Zhicong as the new non-executive director. Mr. Wang joined Intel in 1997 and currently serves as Chairman of Intel China. His previous roles at Intel include Vice President of the Sales and Marketing Group and Executive General Manager of Intel China. Mr. Wang holds a bachelor’s degree in radio technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, a master’s in engineering from Chongqing University, and an MBA from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Subject to shareholder approval, Montage Tech will enter into a service agreement with Mr. Wang. In line with existing remuneration policies, he will not receive compensation for his board role. His tenure will run from the date of shareholder approval until the end of the current board’s term.

No other material matters concerning Mr. Wang require disclosure under Rule 13.51(2) of the Hong Kong Listing Rules. The board expressed gratitude to Dr. Wang Rui for her diligent service.
