China Water Industry Updates Winding-Up Proceedings as HK$2.00 Million Bondholder Joins Petition

China Water Industry Group Limited announced on 21 May 2026 that bondholder Shao Bin has filed a Notice of Intention to Appear, becoming the Sixth Supporting Creditor in the ongoing winding-up petition scheduled for court hearing on 27 May 2026. Shao Bin seeks to recover HK$2.00 million, representing the principal of a bond issued on 6 November 2018.

The company further disclosed that three previously listed supporting creditors—Gao Yuan, Zhao Yuan and Chen Liguo—have fully settled their claims and will no longer participate in the proceedings.

No winding-up order has been issued to date. Management stated it remains in “amicable negotiations” with the original petitioner and all current supporting creditors to procure a settlement and the eventual withdrawal of the petition.

China Water Industry affirmed it will release additional updates as material developments occur and advised shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
