Lee & Man Paper Records Substantial Share Transfer with HK$8.69 Billion in Value

Information from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange reveals a significant share transfer for Lee & Man Paper (02314) on June 30th. The total value of the transferred holdings amounted to HK$8.69 billion, representing 7.08% of the company's shares.

The transaction involved a company shareholder moving 300 million shares into UBS Securities Hong Kong while simultaneously transferring out 300 million shares from BNP Paribas.

In a separate corporate development, Lee & Man Paper announced that its indirectly wholly-owned subsidiary, Guigang Lee & Man Paper Co., Ltd., acting as the borrower, has entered into a fixed asset loan agreement with the Guigang Branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited. The loan facility is for a principal amount of RMB 1.5 billion.

As stipulated by the loan agreement, the company has agreed to act as a guarantor, providing a joint and several liability guarantee to the lender. This guarantee secures the subsidiary's payment obligations under the loan agreement, which include the repayment of the principal amount up to RMB 1.5 billion. The announcement date for this agreement was February 10, 2026.
