Samudera Shipping Line announces FY2025 dividends and board changes at 2026 AGM

Samudera Shipping Line Ltd (S56) informed shareholders at its annual general meeting on Apr, 28 2026 that all resolutions on the agenda were duly approved.

Shareholders adopted the FY2025 audited financial statements and endorsed two cash distributions: a special one-tier tax-exempt dividend of 4.40 Singapore cents per share and a final one-tier tax-exempt dividend of 2.15 Singapore cents per share. Both dividends will be paid on May, 20 2026.

The meeting re-elected Chairman Masli Mulia and Executive Director Tan Meng Toon, approved directors’ fees of 0.56 million Singapore dollars for FY2026, and re-appointed Ernst & Young LLP as external auditors.

Investors also renewed the mandate allowing the board to issue new shares up to 50% of the company’s issued capital and approved the continuation of the interested person transactions mandate.

Board changes confirmed at the session include the retirement of Lead Independent Director Lee Lay Eng Juliana, the appointment of Max Loh Khum Whai as the new Lead Independent Director, the addition of independent director Tay Cheng Kim Karen, and the planned inclusion of Low Chee Wah in the Audit Committee on Jul, 1 2026.
