Hong Kong-listed solar manufacturer Solargiga Energy Holdings Limited (Solargiga) has issued a profit alert indicating a markedly reduced interim loss for the six months ended 30 June 2026.
Based on unaudited management accounts, the Group projects a loss attributable to owners of between RMB50.00 million and RMB65.00 million, improving from the RMB109.00 million loss recorded in the same period of 2025. This equates to a year-on-year loss reduction of approximately 40.4%–54.1%.
Management attributes the narrower deficit to two primary factors: 1. Revenue growth that shifted performance from a gross loss to a gross profit. 2. A decline in impairment losses on financial and contract assets.
The Board stated that operational efficiency measures and cost controls will continue as part of management’s strategy and remains confident about the Group’s long-term prospects.
These figures have not yet been reviewed by auditors or the audit committee and may be adjusted. Solargiga intends to publish its full interim results within the timeframe required by the Hong Kong Listing Rules. Investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s securities.
