China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC) disclosed in its Next Day Disclosure Return that it bought back 1.47 million A-shares on 8 May 2026 through the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The repurchase was executed within a price range of RMB 6.90–6.94 per share, for a total consideration of approximately RMB 10.15 million. All repurchased shares are designated for cancellation.
Despite the new buyback, CCCC’s issued share capital remained unchanged at 11.86 billion shares as of 8 May 2026. There were no treasury shares on the company’s books.
Including the latest transaction, CCCC has accumulated 52.04 million A-shares pending cancellation since September 2025. These pending cancellations represent roughly 0.44% of the current issued share base and were acquired for an estimated aggregate cost of about RMB 440.11 million, implying a volume-weighted average repurchase price of approximately RMB 8.46 per share.
The company confirmed that all repurchases have been duly authorized by the board and executed in accordance with applicable listing rules and domestic regulations.
