Recent disclosures from BAIC Group have revealed the 2024 executive compensation packages, with Vice Presidents Hu Hanjun and Shi Zhishan having each received only 10 months of salary in 2023. The question now is what their full-year earnings looked like for 2024.

According to the data, Hu Hanjun earned a salary of 772,000 yuan in 2024, supplemented by 196,700 yuan in employer-paid contributions for social insurance, enterprise annuity, supplemental medical insurance, and housing provident fund, bringing his total to 968,700 yuan. Meanwhile, Shi Zhishan took home 754,100 yuan in salary for the same period, which is 17,900 yuan less than Hu Hanjun. His employer-paid contributions for social insurance, enterprise annuity, supplemental medical insurance, and housing provident fund matched Hu Hanjun's at 196,700 yuan, yielding a combined total of 950,800 yuan.

Both executives stepped into their roles as Vice Presidents of BAIC Group in 2023, and from the start, Shi Zhishan lagged behind Hu Hanjun in both pre-tax salary and comprehensive benefits. From March to December 2023, Hu Hanjun received 630,800 yuan in compensation along with 187,000 yuan in employer-paid social contributions, whereas Shi Zhishan earned 608,500 yuan with only 156,800 yuan in the same benefit category.

While Shi Zhishan's salary still couldn't surpass Hu Hanjun's in 2024, the employer-paid portion of his comprehensive benefits has now been leveled with his counterpart.
