Guoquan Completes HKD 6.97 Million Share Buyback, Reducing Outstanding H-Shares by 2.56 Million

Guoquan Food (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. repurchased 2.56 million H-shares on 18 May 2026 via on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The shares were bought at prices ranging from HKD 2.71 to HKD 2.73, resulting in a volume-weighted average price of HKD 2.72 and a total consideration of HKD 6.97 million.

Post-transaction, Guoquan’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell to 2.61 billion shares, representing a 0.10 % reduction from the previous balance on 15 May 2026. Treasury shares rose to 139.22 million, while the company’s total issued share count remained unchanged at 2.75 billion.

The buyback was executed under the mandate approved on 29 April 2026, which authorises repurchases of up to 262.44 million shares. To date, 16.30 million shares—equivalent to 0.62 % of the issued share base at the mandate date—have been repurchased under this authority. In accordance with listing rules, Guoquan is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury share disposals until 17 June 2026.
