MEITU (01357) announced that as of March 2026, its paid subscriber base exceeded 17.9 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 30.2%. Paid subscribers from productivity applications grew 52.9% to 2.34 million, while paid subscribers from lifestyle scenario applications increased 27.4% to 15.56 million.
In the first quarter of 2026, the group's core imaging and design product revenue (unaudited) maintained strong growth momentum, rising 34.3% year-on-year to 852 million yuan. Other business segments remained stable overall.
Within imaging and design products, Q1 revenue from productivity applications grew 45.4% year-on-year, accounting for approximately 18% of total imaging and design product revenue. Following the group's exit from the copyright image library business by the end of 2025, the year-on-year growth rate has been calculated on a comparable basis, excluding revenue contribution of approximately 13 million yuan from this legacy business in Q1 2025, to more accurately reflect the growth trend of productivity applications.
Revenue from lifestyle scenario applications increased 35.5% year-on-year in Q1 2026, accounting for 82% of imaging and design product revenue. This reflects the continued enhancement of the group's monetization capabilities and the steady progress of its globalisation strategy.
As of March 2026, the Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) for AI productivity applications was approximately 580 million yuan, up 56.2% year-on-year. In March 2026, total user consumption of AI computing points increased by 59% compared to December 2025.
Broken down by product, Kaipai saw growth of 360%, RoboNeo grew 316%, Meitu Design Studio increased 107%, and Vmake rose 78%. Following the integration of AI Agent capabilities, total consumption of AI computing points increased significantly. This indicates a continued deepening of user engagement with AI features, driving overall demand and usage volume, while simultaneously supporting growth in both paid subscription revenue and usage-based revenue.
