GigaDevice: Controlling Shareholder Trims Stake by 0.90 ppts, Joint Holding Falls to 7.00%

Bulletin Express
May 26

GigaDevice Semiconductor Inc. disclosed that controlling shareholder Zhu Yiming cut his direct stake between 11 May and 25 May 2026, reducing holdings by 6.33 million A-shares through a mix of centralized bidding and block trades. The divestment represents 0.90% of the company’s issued share capital.

Including the unchanged position of concerted party InfoGrid Limited, the combined ownership of Zhu Yiming and InfoGrid has fallen from 7.90% to 7.00%. The transaction reaches the 1% disclosure threshold but does not trigger a mandatory general offer, alter the company’s controlling shareholder status, or affect corporate governance.

The sale forms part of a previously announced share-reduction plan released on 7 April 2026. GigaDevice stated that the programme is still in progress and reiterated that the shareholder remains compliant with all regulatory and self-regulatory requirements. Investors are advised to monitor subsequent disclosures for any further changes in major shareholdings.
