China Water Industry Group Limited (Water Industry) reported that the High Court of Hong Kong heard the winding-up petition against the company on 27 May 2026 and has adjourned the case to 8 June 2026 before a Companies Judge. As of the announcement date, no winding-up order has been granted.

Management confirmed ongoing “amicable negotiations” with the petitioner regarding the outstanding sum and noted simultaneous efforts to engage supporting creditors under the principle of fairness. The company aims to secure a settlement and facilitate withdrawal of the petition.

Water Industry stated it will issue further announcements on any material developments. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when trading the company’s shares.
