On 9 June 2026, Wuxi AppTec Co., Ltd. filed a Next Day Disclosure Return with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange detailing the latest move under its share repurchase programme.
The company acquired 2.73 million H-shares on-market at prices between HKD 111.50 and HKD 119.20, translating to a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 115.58 per share. The transaction totalled HKD 315.37 million.
Following the buyback, the number of issued shares (excluding treasury shares) fell 0.55% to 497.81 million, down from 500.54 million a day earlier. All repurchased shares have been retained as treasury stock, lifting the treasury share balance to 12.66 million. The company’s overall issued share count remains unchanged at 510.48 million.
These purchases were executed under the repurchase mandate approved on 28 April 2026, which authorises the repurchase of up to 298.38 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 12.66 million shares, equal to 0.42% of the shares outstanding on the mandate date, leaving significant capacity for further buybacks.
In line with Main Board Rule 10.06(3)(a), Wuxi AppTec is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 9 July 2026.
