SICC (02631) rose nearly 7% during intraday trading. As of press time, shares were up 5.98% at HK$72.70, with a turnover of HK$28.048 million.

Market sources indicated that during a recent conference call, SICC revealed that its monthly order volume has significantly exceeded its existing production capacity. It is understood that the company's current monthly order scale has reached 120,000 to 130,000 wafers, while its existing capacity stands at approximately 100,000 wafers.

In order to prioritize higher value-added demand from the automotive and AI data center sectors, the company has proactively given up some industrial-grade Schottky diode orders.

The company expects revenue in the third and fourth quarters to continue growing on a quarter-over-quarter basis. Management holds an optimistic view on product pricing for 2027. In the second quarter of this year, the company already adjusted quotations for some smaller customers, and believes there is a possibility of price increases for silicon carbide substrates in 2027.

Additionally, the company is extending its business boundaries into new materials such as indium phosphide. Its related 4-inch products are still in the research and development stage, and the timing of mass production will depend on R&D progress.
