Tanwan Inc. disclosed that it repurchased 550,000 ordinary shares on 24 July 2026 via on-market transactions at prices ranging from HKD 9.99 to HKD 10.65 per share, spending a total of HKD 5.63 million. The volume-weighted average price was approximately HKD 10.23.
\n\nFollowing the buy-back, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) decreased from 518.82 million to 518.27 million shares, while treasury shares rose from 15.62 million to 16.17 million. Total issued shares remained unchanged at 534.44 million. The latest transaction represents 0.11 % of Tanwan’s issued shares (excluding treasury shares) prior to the repurchase; treasury stock now accounts for about 3.02 % of total issued shares.
\n\nThe repurchase falls within the mandate approved on 17 June 2026, which permits Tanwan to buy back up to 52.12 million shares. Including the latest deal, cumulative purchases under this mandate stand at 2.96 million shares, or 0.57 % of the share count when the authority was granted, leaving a balance of 49.17 million shares available for future buy-backs.
\n\nIn line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, Tanwan is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 23 August 2026.
