Beijing Sports and Entertainment Industry Group Limited (BJ Sports & Ent) announced a series of senior management changes effective 17 April 2026.
Resignation and Re-designation • Mr. Liu Xue Heng resigned as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer citing personal health reasons and was re-designated from executive to non-executive director. • Liu, aged 52, had led the board since April 2016. His director’s remuneration remains HK$180,000 per annum. • He continues to hold 9.68 million share options in the company.
New Chairman • Non-executive director Mr. Hu Yebi, aged 62, was appointed Chairman. • Hu’s annual remuneration is unchanged at HK$180,000. • He controls approximately 18.72% of BJ Sports & Ent’s issued shares—263.57 million shares—including 0.97 million share options, primarily through Hollyview International Limited and Power Ace Investments Limited.
Chief Executive Officer Vacancy • The CEO position is temporarily vacant. The board is actively identifying a suitable candidate and will announce an appointment in due course.
Board Appointment • Mr. Zhang Su, aged 36, joined the board as an executive director. • Zhang brings 12 years of international energy-sector experience, with a focus on oil, gas, and renewable projects in Central Asia and Africa—expertise the board expects will support expansion of the Group’s air-dome and consulting businesses. • He has signed a three-year appointment letter with monthly emoluments of HK$10,000.
