Mid-Year Bonuses Announced at Trip.com Amidst Antitrust Penalty of 5.179 Billion Yuan

On the afternoon of August 10, reports emerged that Trip.com Group Limited officially distributed its mid-year performance bonuses last Friday. It is understood that most business units received bonuses at a 95% payout rate: the flight ticket business's base tiers are set at 2.5 months for Grade A, 2 months for Grade B, and 1-1.5 months for Grade C, with a uniform 5% discount applied. Other business units, including hotels and travel, also operate at a 95% payout level, with a few lower tiers reportedly reaching an 87% rate.

As of the time of publication, Trip.com has not commented on this matter. Previously, the State Administration for Market Regulation imposed an administrative penalty on Trip.com Group Limited for abusing its market dominance through monopolistic practices, resulting in fines and confiscations totaling 5.179 billion yuan.
