Kuaishou Launches AI Desktop Assistant KroWork Enabling No-Code Local Application Generation

Apr 30

On April 30th, Kuaishou officially launched its AI desktop intelligent agent product, KroWork, which is available globally on both macOS and Windows platforms.

KroWork is designed for non-technical users, allowing them to use natural language to instruct the AI to autonomously handle file processing, browser automation, application generation, and local deployment. A core feature of the product is "application solidification," which addresses the challenge of locally deploying AI-generated applications. Users can utilize KroWork to convert repetitive workflows into standalone desktop applications. For security, all tasks are executed in an isolated local sandbox, and no data is uploaded to the cloud.

The KroWork team stated that the goal is to lower the barrier to software development through AI, enabling individuals without programming skills to turn their daily needs into personalized desktop tools.
