Biren Tech forecasts RMB1.15–1.30 billion H1 revenue, marking 18-fold surge; loss set to contract by up to 80%

Shanghai-based GPU developer Biren Tech (Shanghai Biren Technology Co., Ltd.) expects a sharp swing toward higher turnover and narrower losses for the six months ended 30 June 2026, according to its profit alert filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 16 August 2026.

Revenue Outlook • Management projects revenue of approximately RMB1.15–1.30 billion, a year-on-year increase of about 1,852%–2,107% versus RMB58.90 million in the first half of 2025. • The surge reflects accelerating demand for generative AI, AI coding and long-horizon agent applications, wider market acceptance of the in-house “Bili” GPGPU product line, and a low comparison base due to back-loaded deliveries last year.

Profitability Trends • Net loss is estimated at RMB320.00–400.00 million, narrowing roughly 75%–80% from the RMB1.60 billion deficit a year earlier. • On a non-IFRS basis, adjusted loss is forecast at RMB290.00–360.00 million, an improvement of 35%–47% compared with RMB551.60 million in the prior-year period.

Key Drivers of Loss Reduction 1. Revenue expansion and emerging economies of scale improved operating leverage. 2. Optimised product mix supported a higher gross margin. 3. Expense growth, particularly in R&D, trailed revenue growth due to ongoing cost-structure optimisation. 4. Finance costs fell markedly after the automatic termination of pre-IPO investor redemption rights upon the company’s Hong Kong listing on 2 January 2026, eliminating related non-cash adjustments.

Financial Reporting Status Figures are derived from unaudited management accounts and may be adjusted. The company plans to release its full interim results by end-August 2026. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in Biren Tech securities.
