Benchmark Electronics' stock soared 10.52% in after-hours trading after the company reported better-than-expected first-quarter results and raised its full-year guidance.

The electronics manufacturing services provider posted adjusted earnings per share of $0.58 for Q1 2026, beating the consensus estimate of $0.56. Revenue rose 7.2% year-over-year to $677.28 million, also slightly above expectations. The company attributed the strong performance to momentum in its Semiconductor Capital Equipment, Aerospace, Communications, and Medical sectors.

Investors cheered management's upgraded outlook, with Benchmark raising its full-year revenue growth forecast to 9-10% from prior mid-single-digit growth. For the second quarter, the company guided revenue between $700 million and $740 million and adjusted EPS between $0.65 and $0.71, signaling continued confidence in its business trajectory.
