UOB (Hong Kong) has announced the appointment of Luo Junguang as Head of its Corporate Banking Division, effective immediately. He succeeds Xie Jiaming in the role. Based in Hong Kong, Luo Junguang will be responsible for leading the bank's corporate banking strategy and driving the continued development of the business. His mandate includes strengthening UOB (Hong Kong)'s support for business interactions between China and ASEAN, as well as providing comprehensive support to companies in the region requiring cross-border banking services.
Luo Junguang will report to Cheng Jun, Chief Executive Officer of UOB (Hong Kong), and Leong Kwok Wen, Head of Group Corporate Banking and Strategic Planning at UOB Group.
Cheng Jun, CEO of UOB (Hong Kong), stated that as the bank further focuses on capturing trade opportunities between China and ASEAN, Luo Junguang's extensive market experience in China, including Hong Kong, coupled with his deep corporate banking expertise, will enhance the bank's ability to support clients in expanding their cross-border operations. Leveraging UOB's business network in ASEAN, he will assist clients in seizing growth opportunities within the region.
