China Ruyi (00136) saw its shares rise more than 5% during the trading session. At the time of writing, the stock was up 3.73%, trading at HK$1.39, with a turnover of HK$60.7882 million.
The increase follows an announcement by China Ruyi regarding the signing of a gaming cooperation framework agreement with a company representing Tencent for the year 2026. Public information indicates that Tencent Holdings indirectly holds approximately 15.37% of China Ruyi. The Tencent-represented company acts on behalf of Tencent Holdings Limited and its related entities, including Tencent Video.
Under the agreement, the two parties plan to prepare 12 cooperative products, which are expected to be launched successively between 2026 and 2027.
According to the announcement, for game publishing cooperation, China Ruyi will serve as the exclusive distribution agent or designated platform distributor for the cooperative game products. For joint operation cooperation, both sides will settle accounts based on channel revenue. Regarding marketing services, China Ruyi will provide customized marketing services based on film-game integration. For exclusive agency arrangements, the Tencent-represented company will publish, operate, and promote the cooperative games on its own platforms and third-party platforms.
