Following the launch event for the new B01/B10 models, senior executives from LEAPMOTOR including Senior Vice President Xu Jun, Senior Vice President Cao Li, and Vice President Zhou Ying engaged with the media.

When discussing the company's international strategy, Senior Vice President Xu Jun noted that the initial target for this year's overseas sales was set between 20% and 35% of total volume. He indicated that performance in the first half of the year is approaching the 30% mark, a result aided by various overseas policy factors. Rising global fuel prices, he added, are accelerating the transition to electric vehicles, presenting a significant opportunity.

He emphasized that the advancement of China's new energy vehicle sector is intrinsically linked to the global market. Based on his observations, a strong domestic performance is foundational for success abroad; without it, international expansion falters. The domestic market remains the core base and the primary source of sales volume. Despite intense local competition, Xu expressed strong confidence in LEAPMOTOR's ability to meet its domestic targets, which in turn will bolster its overseas efforts.

Xu Jun also pointed out that Chinese automakers face two key challenges in global expansion. The first, exporting products that meet global standards for quality, has already been achieved. The next phase, he stated, is "management globalization." Beyond technological maturity, China's new energy sector has developed sophisticated and novel operational and management methodologies through intense market competition. The company is now well-positioned to export its expertise in areas like product cost control, technology management, marketing, and channel distribution. Moving forward, LEAPMOTOR plans to collaborate with partners overseas to share these mature Chinese management practices, aiming for a comprehensive global presence that goes beyond just selling vehicles.
