Henan Chemical Firm Commits 38 Million Yuan to Revamp Pharmaceutical Intermediate Facility

A renovation project for a pharmaceutical intermediate production line in Henan Province has entered its second public review phase, with the developer planning a total investment of 38 million yuan.

Located within the Kaifeng Fine Chemical Development Zone, the initiative by Henan Kaolaifu Chemical Co., Ltd. will utilize the company's existing plant and auxiliary infrastructure across a 49-mu site to establish a production line capable of manufacturing 200 tonnes annually of N-[(1R)-2-[1,1'-biphenyl]-4-yl-1-(hydroxymethyl)ethyl]carbamate tert-butyl ester, alongside an upgrade of the current 200 t/a (5-bromo-2-chlorophenyl)(4-ethoxyphenyl)methanone processing line.

The project is classified as a renovation and will be fully financed through the company's own funds. Core equipment to be deployed includes synthetic reactors, recovery vessels, distillation units, and combined filtration-washing-drying machines.

Founded in 2008, Henan Kaolaifu Chemical Co., Ltd. operates as a private enterprise engaged in the research, production, and sale of coatings, advanced panels, and chemical products.
