On the afternoon of October 7, WuXi AppTec shares in Hong Kong briefly rose 0.27% to HK$219.2000 per share, setting a new all-time high, with a total market capitalization of HK$665.251 billion.
As of press time, WuXi AppTec shares had pulled back to HK$218.8 per share, up 0.09%, with a latest market value of HK$605 billion.
In the first half of this year, WuXi AppTec reported operating revenue of RMB 28.897 billion, a year-on-year increase of 38.94%, and net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB 11.08 billion, up 29.43% year-on-year.
A research report from Shenwan Hongyuan Securities noted that growing demand for new modalities such as peptides and oligonucleotides, the expansion of the TIDES business driven by GLP-1 volume growth, and the strengthening of competitive advantages through process accumulation and capacity layout are expected to support the company's medium- to long-term performance growth.
