Operations Slowed at Shanghai's Two Major Airports as Typhoon Forces Nearly 40% Flight Reductions

Due to the impact of Typhoon "Baijia," the 13th tropical cyclone of the year, both Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport have experienced a decline in operational capacity today (the 10th).
Nearly 40% of scheduled arriving and departing flights have been reduced or canceled. A total of 943 inbound and outbound flights have been canceled across the two airports, with 642 cancellations at Pudong Airport and 301 cancellations at Hongqiao Airport.
