The new campus for Shanghai Minhang Concordia Bilingual Harmony Sound School in Pujin has been officially completed and handed over. The final stages of work, including interior finishing and installation of teaching equipment, are now underway, with the campus expected to be operational by early 2027.

The handover ceremony saw the Minhang District Construction and Management Committee issuing the "Project Completion Filing Certificate" to the district's urban investment company, marking the successful conclusion of the construction phase.

Hiap Hoe's new Harmony Sound Pujin campus is located in a prime area of Pujin Street, adjacent to the Shanghai Theatre Academy Pujiang campus. The project covers a total site area of approximately 33,300 square meters with a total floor area of about 45,400 square meters.

The campus was developed by Shanghai Minhang Urban Construction Investment Development Co., Ltd. and constructed by Shanghai No. 4 Construction Group. The entire process, from groundbreaking to completion and handover, was completed to a high standard in just 14 months.

The new facility includes a high-end kindergarten and a nine-year bilingual school. It features a comprehensive range of modern facilities such as teaching buildings, a science and innovation center, an arts center, a gymnasium, a heated swimming pool, and a standard sports field.

These well-equipped educational facilities are designed to fully support modern teaching, specialized curriculum development, and the diverse growth needs of students, creating an open, diverse, and comfortable learning environment.

Key Development Phase

Shanghai Minhang Concordia Bilingual Harmony Sound School has over two decades of experience in bilingual education. The completion of the new Pujin campus, with its significantly upgraded facilities, represents a major step forward in the school's development.

According to the school's principal, the future campus will establish a continuous boarding school system from kindergarten through middle school. It will focus on specialized programs like STREAM courses, arts, and sports, while continuing to recruit and cultivate a high-caliber team of Chinese and international faculty.

The school plans to leverage superior cultural resources to deepen the integration of culture and education. This collaboration aims to explore new models for the coordinated development of culture and education, with the goal of establishing a high-quality, distinctive, and sustainable modern bilingual school.

The opening of the Concordia Harmony Sound Pujin campus will effectively increase the supply of high-quality school places in the Pujiang area, enriching the region's diverse educational offerings and enhancing its public service infrastructure.

The project will now proceed with the remaining interior finishing and equipment installation work in an orderly manner to ensure it opens as scheduled.
