Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd. (HKEX: 02318, SSE: 601318) has released its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, revealing robust growth across key financial metrics.
During the first half of 2026, the company generated operating revenue of RMB 575.138 billion, marking a 15.0% increase year-on-year. Operating profit attributable to shareholders of the parent reached RMB 84.196 billion, up 8.3%, while net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent surged 36.1% to RMB 92.585 billion. Shareholders' equity attributable to the parent stood at RMB 1.028084 trillion, reflecting a 2.8% increase compared to the beginning of the year.
In line with its commitment to delivering consistent shareholder returns, the company will distribute an interim cash dividend of RMB 0.98 per share, representing a 3.2% growth from the previous year.
The life and health insurance segment has demonstrated notable progress in its high-quality transformation. New business value reached RMB 24.847 billion in the first half of 2026, up 11.2% year-on-year.
Enhancing customer experience remains a priority, with upgraded services enabling customers to resolve matters through a single command. AI-powered inquiry and processing capabilities now cover 88% of the group's business scenarios. Additionally, the company has enhanced its global emergency rescue service, allowing activation with a single button. Over 1,500 rescue service requests were processed during the first half of the year.
Advancing its technological leadership, the company continues to deepen AI applications across core business operations. Daily token consumption averaged over 120 billion in June 2026.
