Thor Industries Inc's stock plummeted 5.26% during intraday trading on Tuesday, following the release of its fiscal second-quarter earnings report.

While the recreational vehicle manufacturer reported strong Q2 results that beat analyst expectations for sales and earnings, the company maintained its full-year fiscal 2026 guidance, which fell short of market expectations. Thor Industries expects net sales in the range of $9.0 billion to $9.5 billion, compared to the FactSet consensus estimate of $9.64 billion. The company's earnings per share guidance of $3.75 to $4.25 also trails the analyst estimate of $4.24.

The company cited geopolitical uncertainties as a reason for not raising its full-year outlook, despite the better-than-expected quarterly performance. This cautious guidance appears to have disappointed investors, leading to the significant price decline during the trading session.
