Moog's stock surged 5.23% during intraday trading on Friday, following the release of its fiscal second-quarter 2026 results and an upward revision to its full-year outlook.

The company reported outstanding quarterly performance, with adjusted diluted earnings per share rising 40% year-over-year to $2.64, significantly surpassing analyst expectations of $2.36. Net sales for the quarter increased 13% to $1.05 billion, also exceeding estimates.

Driving investor optimism, Moog raised its fiscal 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to $10.60, up from its previous forecast of $10.20 and above the FactSet consensus estimate of $10.18. The company cited robust demand across all four of its business segments, strengthening operations, and a record twelve-month backlog of $3.3 billion, which increased 33% from the prior year.
