SC Executes Buy-Back of 0.75 Million Shares, Cumulative Outlay Reaches US$1.14 Billion

Standard Chartered PLC (SC) repurchased 751,200 ordinary shares on 27 May 2026 under the share buy-back programme announced on 24 February 2026.

The transaction was executed through J.P. Morgan Securities plc at prices ranging from 1,977.00 GB pence to 2,011.00 GB pence, with a volume-weighted average price of 1,996.9968 GB pence.

Breakdown by venue shows: • London Stock Exchange – 451,200 shares at an average 1,996.9385 GB pence • CBOE BXE – 150,000 shares at an average 1,997.0683 GB pence • CBOE CXE – 150,000 shares at an average 1,997.1009 GB pence

As of the close on 26 May 2026, SC had deployed US$1.14 billion on share repurchases since the programme began. All acquired shares will be cancelled, reducing total shares in issue to approximately 2.20 billion, and aligning the company’s voting rights to the same figure.
