Li Auto's Launch Event Embraces Self-Deprecation: Li Xiang Studies 'The Art of Parking'

At the Li Auto Software and Embodied Intelligence Day event held on June 15th, the company's Chairman and CEO, Li Xiang, delivered a keynote address.

An interesting moment occurred towards the end of the presentation when Li Auto played an AI-generated promotional video featuring several self-deprecating segments. One scene showed Li Xiang flipping through a book titled "The Art of Parking," with the cover clearly displaying the phrase "How to Park Correctly."

This appears to be a reference to an incident in August 2025, when social media was flooded with numerous posts criticizing Li Auto owners for improper parking, such as vehicles straddling lines or occupying charging spots. At that time, Li Xiang responded by releasing a video statement, suggesting that behind each wave of public opinion was a different brand orchestrating the narrative, often employing professional online commentators.

He emphasized that Li Auto did not wish to engage in similar tactics or become like those who were criticizing them, stating that if they did, "they would have completely won."
