China Communications Construction Company Limited (CHINA COMM CONS) disclosed on 14 May 2026 that it repurchased 1.45 million A-shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange at prices ranging from RMB 6.80 to RMB 6.85 per share, spending RMB 9.87 million in total. The shares are designated for cancellation and will not be held as treasury stock.
Following the latest transaction, the company’s issued share capital remains unchanged at 11.86 billion shares (excluding treasury shares). No new shares were issued, sold or cancelled during the reporting day.
Cumulative activity since 18 September 2025 shows 57.91 million A-shares have been repurchased for cancellation but are not yet cancelled, equivalent to approximately 0.49 % of the current issued share base. Based on the disclosed repurchase prices, these transactions represent an estimated aggregate consideration of about RMB 480.40 million, translating to an average buy-back price of roughly RMB 8.29 per share.
The company confirmed that all repurchases were authorised by the board and executed in full compliance with relevant listing rules and regulatory requirements.
