J&T Global Express Limited (J&T EXPRESS-W) disclosed a share repurchase of 2.69 million Class B weighted-voting-right (WVR) ordinary shares on 8 October 2026. The on-market transactions were carried out at prices ranging from HK$8.67 to HK$8.83 per share, resulting in a volume-weighted average repurchase cost of HK$8.73 per share and a total cash outlay of HK$23.49 million.
Prior to the buyback, J&T Global Express had 8.61 billion issued shares (excluding treasury shares) and 70.00 million treasury shares. Following the transaction, the company’s outstanding share count declined by 2.69 million shares, or 0.03%, to 8.60 billion, while treasury shares increased to 72.69 million.
The repurchase was executed under the mandate approved on 25 June 2026, which authorises the company to buy back up to 967.47 million shares. Including the latest transaction, J&T Global Express has utilised 99.48 million shares, equivalent to 1.03% of the mandate limit. All repurchased shares to date have been retained as treasury stock; none have been cancelled.
In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange Main Board Rule 10.06(3)(a), the company is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or further treasury-share disposals until 7 November 2026.
