ASTI Holdings Limited said on Aug, 12 2026 that its wholly owned unit, Telford Service (Thailand) Company Limited, has signed a lease for facilities in the Free Zone at Amata City Chonburi, Chonburi Province, to resume semiconductor back-end taping production in Thailand.

The reopening restores ASTI’s presence in Thailand, where its previous Ayutthaya plant was shut after flooding in 2011, and complements the group’s existing production sites in the Philippines and Malaysia.

Executive Chairman and CEO Eddie Ng Yew Nam stated that the new Chonburi base will strengthen the company’s regional production network and position it closer to customers in one of the Asia-Pacific region’s most active semiconductor corridors.
