J&T Express-W completed an on-market repurchase of 4.47 million Class B weighted-voting-rights ordinary shares on 10 June 2026, according to its Next Day Disclosure Return filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The shares were bought at prices ranging from HKD 8.59 to HKD 8.88, resulting in a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 8.7606 per share and an aggregate consideration of HKD 39.16 million. The repurchased shares represent 0.051% of the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) as of 9 June 2026.
Following the transaction, J&T Express’ issued share count (excluding treasury shares) was reduced from 8.76 billion to 8.76 billion shares, while treasury shares rose from 28.07 million to 32.54 million. The total number of issued shares remained unchanged at 8.79 billion.
The buyback forms part of the repurchase mandate approved on 18 June 2025, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 889.65 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 39.76 million shares, equivalent to 0.45% of the issued share base on the mandate date.
A moratorium on new share issues or the sale or transfer of treasury shares is in place until 10 July 2026, in accordance with Hong Kong Listing Rules.
