Cadre Holdings, Inc. (CDRE) saw its stock price plummet 7.10% during intraday trading on Tuesday. The sharp decline occurred ahead of the company's scheduled earnings release.

The sell-off was driven by the company's fourth-quarter 2025 financial results, which significantly missed analyst expectations. Cadre reported quarterly earnings of $0.27 per share, falling 29.5% short of the consensus estimate of $0.38. Quarterly sales of $167.224 million also missed estimates by 8.59%.

Further pressuring the stock were year-over-year declines in profitability. The company's Q4 net income fell 10% to $11.74 million, while adjusted EBITDA dropped 11% to $34.4 million, also missing the estimated $37.3 million. Although the company provided full-year 2026 sales guidance that was above estimates, the weak quarterly performance and profit declines prompted the negative market reaction.
