Mega Genomics buys back 2,000 shares at HK$6.85 each; cumulative repurchases reach 0.16% of mandate

Mega Genomics Limited disclosed that it repurchased 2,000 ordinary shares on 17 July 2026 via on-market transactions at HK$6.85 per share, spending a total of HK$13,700. The shares will be held as treasury stock.

Following the transaction, the company’s outstanding share count (ex-treasury) decreased marginally to 223.95 million, representing a 0.0009% reduction. Treasury shares rose to 350,200, while the total issued share capital remained unchanged at 224.30 million.

The buyback forms part of the repurchase mandate approved on 21 May 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 22.43 million shares. To date, Mega Genomics has repurchased 350,200 shares under this mandate, equivalent to 0.16% of the authorised limit. Under Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, the company is restricted from issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 17 August 2026.
