LIANLIAN DigiTech Co., Ltd. released its unaudited results for the six months ended 30 June 2026. Revenue rose 11.9% year on year to RMB 875.60 million, driven mainly by a 27.1% increase in global payment income. However, net profit declined 99.3% to RMB 10.94 million, reflecting the lack of the RMB 2.05 billion disposal and dilution gains recorded in the same period of 2025.
\n\nGross profit increased 11.9% to RMB 454.41 million, maintaining a margin of 51.9%. Segmentally, global payments contributed RMB 600.91 million in revenue and RMB 425.52 million in gross profit, while domestic payments retreated to RMB 105.96 million following a strategic shift away from low-margin transactions. Value-added services nearly doubled revenue to RMB 164.16 million, propelled by expansion in virtual bank cards, though the segment’s gross margin narrowed to 6.3%.
\n\nOperating profit fell to RMB 88.85 million from RMB 1.97 billion a year earlier. Selling and marketing expenses edged up 2.4% to RMB 131.85 million; adjusted for the prior-year’s share-based costs, they rose 10.0%. General and administrative expenses dropped 32.7% to RMB 201.75 million after last year’s share-based charges, while R&D spending contracted 35.5% to RMB 120.66 million amid efficiency gains from AI deployment.
\n\nNet finance income reached RMB 10.98 million versus a RMB 2.04 million cost a year earlier, supported by higher cash balances and lower interest expenses. Share of losses from associates widened to RMB 81.74 million following the reclassification of DFX Advance as an associate.
\n\nTotal assets stood at RMB 22.15 billion, and total equity was RMB 3.03 billion as of 30 June 2026. Cash and cash equivalents were RMB 1.41 billion, while funds segregated for customers and restricted cash totaled RMB 18.70 billion. The gearing ratio was 4.8% with borrowings of RMB 145.44 million. Net cash from operating activities reached RMB 97.35 million; net outflows for investing and financing activities were RMB 215.62 million and RMB 87.18 million, respectively.
\n\nDuring the period, LIANLIAN added a Canadian MSB licence and a Dubai Category 3D payment licence, bringing its global portfolio to 68 payment licences covering more than 200 jurisdictions. Management reiterated the “AI Native + Globalization” strategy, with HK$392.8 million of IPO proceeds and HK$35.16 million of July 2025 placement proceeds deployed by end-June 2026.
\n\nNo interim dividend was declared. The board signalled ongoing investment in technology, overseas expansion and strategic partnerships, with unutilised IPO and placement proceeds earmarked for these initiatives.
