Dell Technologies Inc. (DELL) shares soared 5.24% during intraday trading on Wednesday, extending gains after a strong pre-market session. The rally comes as investors reacted positively to a bullish analyst call that countered recent pessimism surrounding the company's AI server profitability.

The upward move was primarily driven by Goldman Sachs raising its price target on Dell to $510 from $500, while maintaining a Buy rating. This upgrade arrived just one day after Morgan Stanley slashed its own target to $430 from $477, which had triggered a more than 5% decline in the previous session. Goldman Sachs' contrarian stance helped ease market concerns over the sustainability of AI server profit margins, restoring confidence in the stock.

Broader strength in the technology hardware, storage, and peripherals sector also provided a supportive backdrop. Peers such as Super Micro Computer, SanDisk, Seagate Technology, and Western Digital all posted notable gains, reflecting renewed investor appetite for hardware stocks tied to the AI infrastructure theme.
