LYGEND RESOURCE Shows Early Strength with Over 6% Gain; Second Phase RKEF KPS Project Achieves Full Production Capacity

LYGEND RESOURCE (02245) saw a sharp intraday surge, climbing over 7% before settling with a 5.87% increase to HK$14.80, with turnover reaching HK$55.93 million by press time. The company announced that according to the registration results published on the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) website on August 7, 2026, the CSRC has approved the company's registration application for its proposed A-share listing and issuance.

Recently, LYGEND RESOURCE disclosed that all production lines of the KPS project, part of the second phase of its RKEF project, officially reached design capacity on August 1, 2026, achieving full production. The company, in partnership with Indonesian collaborators, has invested in a two-phase RKEF project on Obi Island, Indonesia. The second phase KPS project encompasses 12 production lines with an annual design capacity of 185,000 metal tonnes of nickel pig iron.
