United States Antimony's (UAMY) stock surged 5.02% during intraday trading on Wednesday, following the company's announcement of a transition in its chief financial officer role.
The company announced that Richard Isaak, Senior Vice President and CFO, has taken a temporary personal leave of absence expected to last at least two months. The company clarified that this leave is not related to its financial performance, accounting practices, or internal controls. Shawn Winkler, who has been serving as a financial consultant to the company and previously held the CFO position at Burrow Global, has been appointed as the interim CFO. Winkler brings over 15 years of investment banking experience at firms including BMO Capital Markets and Deutsche Bank Securities, where he advised natural resources clients.
The company also confirmed it is maintaining its scheduled date of May 14 for the release of its first-quarter 2026 financial results.
